I am a History MA student in my last semester of coursework before starting my thesis.  I graduated with a BA in History from Texas A&M and worked for both Texas A&M UTD for a combined 10 years.  My field interest is in both gender history and propaganda in relation to World War Two.  My fiance is a huge DC fan, which revived my interest in comics.  I especially like Wonder Woman, and the Batman area stories.  Currently I am reading several of the DC new 52: Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Batwoman, and Huntress.  I am also reading Gotham Sirens and play the MMO DC Universe Online, via the PS3.  My home is covered in DC and Marvel action figures and we have several boxes of comic books and trade paperbacks.  I would like to know more about comics in general since I am always asking my fiance about them and I am sure that is annoying, not to mention how they tie into my own field, which I find exciting.
