Greetings!

I am a PhD student in Literary Studies and I also teach Rhetoric 1302 here at UTD. I have four older brothers so I can honestly say that I don't remember a time when comic books were not available to me. I think I read Superman first, but I have a soft spot for Batman.  I started reading comics again when my son became old enough to appreciate them. I like the level of  psychological complexity in comics and find myself drawn to the darker heroes.
